Bruce Galyon

Bruce Galyon has served as the pastor of Central United Methodist Church since June 2005. A native of Sweetwater, Tennessee, he has been a minister in the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church for 26 years. He graduated from Emory and Henry College in 1984 and from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1988.

Rev Bruce Galyon In addition to his activities at Central, Bruce serves on the Board of Directors of the Loudon County Literacy Council, East Tennessee Mental Illness Awareness Coalition, and the Knoxville Association for Retarded Adults. He enjoys outdoor activities, such as golf, hiking, bicycling, and fishing. He is married to Melanie, and they have two children, a daughter who is in college and a son in high school.
