Children & Youth Leaders
Natalie Justice came to Central in October 2008 as Coordinator of
Children's Ministries. She has a B.A. in Religion from Carson-Newman
College and is currently a student at Gardner-Webb School of Divinity
in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, working toward a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling. Natalie served as an
interim music minister in North Carolina and a ministerial intern in
Florida and spent a summer at Sea World dressed as Shamu the whale. In her free time, she plays the French horn, loves sports, and loves to read.
Jay Lifford, a Knoxville native, joined the staff as Coordinator of Youth and College Ministries in February 2010. He received a degree in music from UT Chattanooga and sang with the Junaluska Singers for two years. He enjoys family time, movies, music, and travel. He has visited Indonesia, Korea, Singapore, Australia, and England. Jay and his wife Jessica have five children.
Kanoa King and Kristin Dyer serve as nursery coordinators. Kanoa has an A.S. from Roane
State. She is busy during the week taking care of her husband Denford, two young sons, a daughter, and
three dogs and designing and maintaining a website for her mother's business. Kristin graduated
from Shawnee State University, where she played basketball. A Mary Kay consultant and
substitute teacher at St. Mark's United Methodist Church Pre-School, Kristin loves all kinds of
creative activitiesphotography, scrapbooking, and crafts. She and her husband Bryan have one
son.
